Pottery Wall Plaques at Quirky Workshops @ Greystoke Cycle Cafe

Roma Short is a ceramic artist with many years experience.
Under Roma's watchful eye you will be making your own pottery Green Man or Lady Wood Nymph (May 11th & 9th October).
The Pilgrims Journey Wall plaque looks lovely both indoors or out - with Roma's guidance you will make your own similarly styled plaque in a day. (May 28th)
Your finished plaque will be fired to stoneware temperature to vitrify the clay and make it frost proof. The drying, firing and glazing processes will take a month, after which you can collect your green man or have him posted to you.

Notes	The Cycle Cafe is a family-run tea garden with unusual opening times. Fri 12.00 to 18.00. Sat 10.00 to 18.00 and the second Sun of the month 10.00 to 18.00. We will serve any cyclists at other times with whatever we have, if of course we are about and available. Seasonal opening only, Apr to end Sep.

On the C2C Cycle route 200 yds north of Greystoke village green, direction Blencowe. We welcome all cyclists and walkers and ask all those with cars to walk the 350yds from the village car park around the Greystoke Castle walls.
We can offer parking in our driveway to cycle support vehicles and those attending our workshop days,
Bus links to Penrith and Keswick. Penrith railway station 5 miles

Parking : free

Nearest station : 5 miles (8.0 kms) from Penrith station

We have a ground floor toilet but not wide enough for wheelchair access.
