Kendal Mountain Festival at Brewery Arts CentreKendal Mountain Festival at Brewery Arts Centre

Kendal Mountain Festival is the world's biggest mountain festival. It's a celebration of mountain film, literature, art, athletes and legends, that aims to inspire more people to explore, enjoy and represent mountains, wilderness and their cultures.
The main thrust of the festival is the Mountain Film competition - whether adrenaline and adventure is your thing, or environmental issues affecting mountain regions and their indigenous people, there will be a film that will grab you and stay with you. The films are screened for 3 days, at the end of which there will be a grand prize winner, and a host of other winning categories. It's Kendal's version of the Oscar's!
