15 - 25 May: Brace yourself for the Freerange Comedy Festival from the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal. The festival sends comedians out into the Lake District to perform unusual gigs in unusual spaces. We'll be on Barbara Nice's Magical Mystery Tour of the Lakes but don't you miss out on any of the festival's the fab line-up.more info
May 25 - 29: Muncaster Castle sees The International Jesters Tournament held on the final day of its festival when the Fool of Muncaster 2013 will be crowned. more info
May 24 - 26: Maryport Harbour Festival hosts a fantastic line-up of music inside its harbourside Marquee, a full spring fair, the annual trawler race anda whole host of diverse stalls, vendors and surprises to investigate and discover. more info
