During April and May Cumbria will be host to a new cultural event. Lakes Ignite is a celebration of inspiring culture based around the theme of imaginary journeys. Lakes Culture has commissioned four innovative works made even more extraordinary set against the beautiful landscape. Alongside these unique artistic works, Lakes Ignite will showcase some of the high-quality, world-class events and exhibitions that can be found at some of the region’s cultural venues.
