Stone Carving 3 Day Workshop for Beginners with enthusiasm and a little patience! Intermediates' Course in July - please see our website for details.
Many of us who have walked in the various corners of Cumbria and some of our cities have noticed the wonderful work produced by this very talented lady, poetry, pictures and words flow from and are totally at one with the stone in which they are carved, her pieces are unique and beautifully reflective, in every sense.

Consisting of an introductory slide show is followed by demonstrations of lettering styles, drawing techniques and methods of carving with chisels, followed by individual tuition.
Students are welcome to bring their own stone and project. The Course Fee includes use of tools and equipment. Stones are available for a small charge.
Prices
Adult £190 includes lovely 2-course lunch, refreshments and home made cakes on Day 1 and refreshments and cream teas Days 2 and 3.

On the C2C Cycle route 200 yds north of Greystoke village green, direction Blencowe. We welcome all cyclists and walkers and ask all those with cars to walk the 350yds from the village car park around the Greystoke Castle walls.
We can offer parking in our driveway to cycle support vehicles and those attending our workshop days,
