Enamel Cloisonne Jewellery in a Day at Quirky Workshops @ Greystoke Cycle Cafe

Cloisonne Enamelling is the art of creating cells with fine silver wire to produce images or patterns which can then be filled with enamel. You will be shown how to prepare the silver for enamelling, how to apply your wire design and how to wet pack and fire your piece. Students can expect to complete a piece similar to this one, or the two above centre and right.

Tilly will provide small fine silver pendant shapes for you to enamel.

Notes	The Cycle Cafe is a family-run tea garden with unusual opening times. Fri 12.00 to 18.00. Sat 10.00 to 18.00 and the second Sun of the month 10.00 to 18.00. We will serve any cyclists at other times with whatever we have, if of course we are about and available. Seasonal opening only, Apr to end Sep.

On the C2C Cycle route 200 yds north of Greystoke village green, direction Blencowe. We welcome all cyclists and walkers and ask all those with cars to walk the 350yds from the village car park around the Greystoke Castle walls.
We can offer parking in our driveway to cycle support vehicles and those attending our workshop days,
Bus links to Penrith and Keswick. Penrith railway station 5 miles

Nearest station : 5 miles (8.0 kms) from Penrith station

We have a ground floor toilet but not wide enough for wheelchair access.
