Green routes

Suitable for: Beginners
Trail: Relatively flat and wide. Suitable for most types of bikes.
Road: Short sections on very quiet lanes. Suitable for most types of bikes.

Suitable for: Beginners in good health.
Trail: Some uphill and downhill sections, with some single track. Suitable for most types of bikes.
Road: Routes on quiet lanes and roads. Suitable for most types of bikes.

Red routes

Suitable for: Cyclists with good off-road riding skills & fitness.
Trail: Uphill climbs, fast down hills with technical features such as drop-offs & large rocks. Suitable for good mountain bikes.
Road: Steep climbs, quick descents and on busier roads. Suitable for hybrid and road bikes.
