outdoor adventure...

This is the country's biggest adventure playground and it's breathtaking, in every sense of the word.

We have activities to suit all interests, budgets and abilities, whether you are a seasoned adventurer or want to learn the ropes from a qualified guide.

With England's five tallest mountains and deepest lake, Cumbria's rich natural environment is simply unique.  Exploring the great outdoors you'll discover some of the Uk's most beautiful scenery along with a wealth of flora and fauna.

Update:
It's business as usual across Cumbria with the countryside open and welcoming to winter walkers. Updated information on those routes that have been affected by last years floods is now available at the LDNPA and CCC websites.

So wrap up warm with the right outdoor footwear and clothing, and be sure to take the usual precautions of carefully planning your route, checking the forecast and carrying a map, torch, food & liquid supplies, and get out there and enjoy the Cumbrian countryside this winter.
