lake district cycling guides

Cumbria is perfect for exploring by bike with country lanes, quiet back roads and lots of National Cycle Network routes to explore.

As well as scenic routes you can also enjoy an off-road trial at Grizdale Forest or Whinlatter Forest, or longer famous cross country routes.

The cycling guides below offer a good introduction to cycling in the county and some suggested routes. These are available to download as PDFs, or you can order a cycling guide to be posted out to you.
