Roger Savage Gyroplanes
A spectacular Gyrocopter Trial Flight and unique flying lesson. You have the thrill of taking control or just take in the views. Based at Berrier Airfield near Penrith/Ullswater/Keswick. Ideal gift or just to treat yourself.
The flights from our airstrip are awesome and unforgettable. Within minutes we are flying through the incredibly beautiful valleys and around and sometimes over the mountains of the Lake District. We fly in modern, state of the art twin seat Gyrocopters and there's an extra thrill because they're open cockpit. You will be amazed how safe a secure you feel, once we are airborne. They are incredibly stable and smooth, and very safe!
Our Gyrocopters have dual controls, so after an informal 'ground briefing', you will be invited, once airborne, of taking control of the Gyrocopter for yourself, or just simply sit back and enjoy the view, the choice is yours! Bring your camera.
Helmets, flying suits and gloves are supplied. You will be flying with one of the most experienced Gyrocopter Pilot/Instructors in the UK.
