Electricity and gas not being included in the booking fee was a bit irritating. The parking was an issue - apart from the general problems in Ambleside, it had not been made clear that the 'out of date' parking permit supplied was still valid so we, unnecessarily, had to 'run' around Ambleside for the first few days and join the scramble for parking. Otherwise, the cottage was adequate and conveniently positioned.
