    “Little bit of heaven”

This B+B is delightful. Wonderfully situated in a very quiet village with easy access to the Coniston/Hawkshead areas and walks. The rooms are beautifully furnished in Laura Asley style with exceptionally comfy beds that one sinks into and struggles to get out of! The en-suite shower room is small but has everything needed. The breakfast was outstanding with plenty of choice, I couldn't resist the full English, even with the tempting special of the day - Eggs Benedict! And proper bread, no supermarket sliced rubbish. There is a downstairs sitting room with wood burning stove, which is lovely to relax in after a long hard day on the fells (some maps and guides available to plan your next trek). The owners have a cat who likes the space in front of the fire, and a good chin scratch if you like cats and aren't allergic. There is a feel of going back in time and it's easy to imagine Beatrix Potter telling stories to guests in the sitting room in the evenings. This is a gem!
