Built in 1812, Linnett Hill is a Regency property with a unique Dutch façade prominently situated in the centre of Keswick directly opposite magnificent Fitz Park and enjoys breath-taking views towards Latrigg and Skiddaw.
Comprehensively refurbished for 2013 Linnett Hill provides modern facilities whilst retaining much of its original character. Linnett Hill currently offers seven fully en-suite guest bedrooms, feature bathrooms, flat screen TV's, relaxing lounge, free Wi-Fi, extensive private parking, secure cycle storage and indoor drying facilities.

From the South (M6 Junction 36 Kendal, Windermere, Ambleside)
Taking the A591 through Ambleside, drop down the hill following signs for Keswick town centre. Follow along Penrith Road with the River Greta on your right hand side until you reach the traffic lights. At the lights, take the immediate left hand turn into Southey Street. Then take the first left into Shorley Lane where you will find our large car park at the rear of Linnett Hill. Reception is located from the car park at the rear of the property.
From the North (M6 Junction 40)
Take the A66 to Keswick (about 16 miles). Take the first turning off the A66 signpost A591 to Keswick & Windermere. At the junction turn right down the hill towards the Town Centre onto Penrith Road. Go past Travis Perkins on the right, the Twa Dogs Inn and Petrol Station on the left, go under the bridge, past the fire station on the left. The River Greta and then Fitz Park will be on your right. Turn immediately left at the top of this slight incline opposite the war memorial at the traffic lights into Southey Street. Then take the next left into Shorley Lane where you will find our large car park at the rear of Linnett Hill. Reception is located from the car park at the rear of the property.
By Public Transport
The nearest railway station to Keswick is at Penrith on the West Coast Mainline. A bus service (X5) can be found just outside the station entrance and connects with Keswick bus station in about 40 minutes. Linnett Hill is just a 5 minute walk from Keswick bus station located at the front of Booths supermarket in town.
From the Bus Station in Keswick
Turn left past Booths, 50 metres to mini roundabout, and then right up towards the market square. Turn left at The Inn pub just past the Moot Hall onto Station Street and up to Penrith Road. Linnett Hill can then be found just on the right, No: 4 Penrith Road opposite the war memorial and Fitz Park.
