Charming barn conversion designed with comfort in mind just outside Appleby. The barn was converted in 2005 providing luxurious holiday accommodation for 4 guests. Large entrance hall for storing coats and boots, leading into spacious galleried lounge with vaulted ceiling, king-post beams, sandstone floor, jotel wood-burning stove, comfy settees and flat-screen TV. Large kitchen with range cooker, dishwasher, fridge frewezer, microwave etc. Shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Air-conditioned sun room with relaxing seating, patio door to sitting area. Both en suite bedrooms are warm and inviting with colour TV, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, robes. Bedroom 1, downstairs has oak flooring, double bed, large bath and marble floor. Heating is from LPG gas, air-conditioned units and wood-burning stove. Outside parking for 2 cars. Linen and fuel supplied. Welcome pack with home-made biscuits etc. Travel cot and highchair available by rerquest, well-behaved pets by arrangement. The immaculate barn is down a quiet country lane which is ideal for walkers or dog owners. Historic Appleby is a delightful market town within easy reach of Cumbrian honey pots and Yorkshire Dales.

Appleby's amenities are 1 mile away. Local facilities include swimming pool, golf course, Settle to Carlisle railway. Fishing, riding stables, cinema in Penrith, Ullswater steamers, tennis courts, bowls, football, gym, squash courts and county cricket. Children welcome from any age.

Leave M6 jct 38, Tebay, take B6260 to Appleby. Follow road for 12 miles. In Appleby turn left by bridge taking Long Marton road, after 0.75 mile take first left to Long Marton. After 400 yds take first farm track on left. Keld House Farm barn is 200yds down track on right.
