Leave M6 motorway at jct 36 onto A590/A591 to Kendal and Windermere. Follow dual carriageway to large roundabout just outside Kendal. Carry on to Windermere on A591. After passing village sign, stay on main road, ignoring sign to town centre. We are on the left-hand side, just before the church. Windermere is the nearest railway station.
