Set in our own grounds in the northern border regions of Cumbria, Briar Lea Guest House is an ideal place for exploring the historical city of Carlisle, The Scottish Borders, Gretna Green and Hadrians Wall. We are ideally placed for an overnight stop en route between England and Scotland or between the Stranraer and Newcastle ferries.

From M6 jct 44 take the A7 towards Galashiels and Longtown, it is also the Edinburgh holiday route. On entering Longtown turn right on the A6071 signed towards Brampton. Briar Lea House is situated 0.5 miles on the right-hand side.
