There is always something appealing about turning off a country lane and then into the grounds of a large country house. Summer Hill offers such an experience, standing elegantly within 5 acres of mature grounds, with its expansive fountained lawn. Amongst the natural colour and beauty of shrubbery ponds and rhododendrons that are overlooked by majestic beeches and pines, we have built 3 log cabins, authentic in their creation from proper round logs. Just the place for a relaxing holiday or a rejuvenating short break. The log cabins are all fully self-contained and offer an excellent retreat in the fine surroundings. We are less than 30 minutes drive from the M6 and only a few miles from Coniston water and lake Windermere and in easy range of all the Lakes have to offer.
