Details

High Moss, an 18thC farmhouse with many original features, lies within a farm in the Duddon Valley, Wordsworth's favourite valley and home of Postman Pat, below the Coniston fells. There are lovely views from every window and high fell and valley walking from the door.
The cottage is authentically and comfortably furnished. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed, 1 with a single bed and fold-away bed. The sitting room has an open fire, a TV, radio, lots of books, some children's games and a fold-away bed. There is an enclosed garden and garage, with a washer dryer. The water supply is from a beck on the fells. The rent includes electricity. This is a low-allergen house, hence our no smoking and no pets rule. Our brochure can be sent by post or e-mail. There is an excellent pub/restaurant a mile away.

Last departure and first arrival times are 10.30 and 15.30.
