Broadview is a quality, friendly, AA 4*, non-smoking guest house in the heart of the Lake District, Ambleside. Situated a short stroll from the centre of the village and lake Windermere at Waterhead, Broadview is perfect for a holiday or short break, whether you need a base for touring or are exploring the fells on foot.
There are 6 comfortable guest rooms, most en suite or with private bathroom, including doubles, twin and a room that sleeps 3. All have TV, DVD player, full tea and coffee making facilities, mini fridge, bathrobes, fluffy towels, and hairdryer along with the little extras to make your stay more comfortable. We also have a king-size 4-poster room for that extra special romantic break.
The Broadview breakfast will set you up for the day whether you are just relaxing or walking the fells. Our menu consists of local meats, free-range eggs and home-made breads. Veggies, vegans and most special diets can be catered for by prior arrangement.
Drying facilities, maps, guides and packed lunches can be provided and free parking is available during your stay.

From M6 take jct 36 and follow the A590/A591 past Windermere to Ambleside. Continue straight through the traffic lights at Waterhead passing the Waterhead Hotel on your left. Broadview is situated on the right of Lake Road, directly opposite Hayes Garden World. Windermere is the nearest railway station. Buses and taxis can be taken from the station to Ambleside.
