Non-smoking Blenheim Lodge is situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park and boasts stunning Lake and fell views. Our friendlyAA 4-star guesthouse in Bowness-on-Windermere is ideal for singles, couples, and families on retreats, romantic breaks, walking, cycling, biking, fishing, golfing, sightseeing and activity holidays.

• Nestling against acres of lovely National Trust fields and woodlands, our secluded B&B is a tranquil retreat.

• Enjoy the best of both worlds: combine your stay in pretty B&B rooms with stunning Lake and fell views with the convenience of a 5-minute walk to town centre amenities, attractions, and Lake Windermere.

• Built as a former gentleman’s residence in 1868, our Bowness B&B is hidden at the end of a cul-de-sac, and distanced from noisy main road traffic, crowds and late night revellers. Our back garden adjoins National Trust acres, and The Dales Way is a literal minute’s stroll from our door. Amble country paths behind our house to viewpoints with exceptional 360-degree views.

• Our fully refurbished B&B retains much of its quirky Victorian character and period charm. Although we do not consider ours a boutique B&B, we use only quality products, including luxury bedding, bath sheets and hand towels.

• Rooms are decorated with Laura Ashley colours and soft furnishings, and most are furnished with antique pieces in keeping with their historic past. Hand-carved beds with comfortable handmade mattresses and fluffy Norwegian duvets promote a restful night’s sleep.

• For breakfast, we serve local Lakeland produce: hearty butcher-made sausage and bacon. A local dairy delivers fresh eggs and milk daily. Vegetarian breakfast options are available.

• We offer free: onsite car park, WIFI, and bookable local fishing permits. There is an inviting lounge with lovely Lake and fell views for guests' use.

• For romantic or special occasions, we can pre-order flowers, cake, champagne, wine, and luxury handmade chocolate truffles for your arrival. We also tailor-made gift vouchers.

• Ideally situated for exploring the Lake District. Windermere Railway is 5 minutes south. Local main roads, buses and ferries provide easy links to other parts of the Lake District. And we can help arrange minibus and private tours that will pick up and drop off guests staying with us.

• So slip under clean, crisp sheets, and listen . . . to the sound of silence. And awaken refreshed to the beauty of birdsong and the glorious scenery surrounding our B&B.

Make Blenheim Lodge your home from home. We would be delighted to welcome you!
