“beautiful cottage, well equipped but remote”

It is a lovely little cottage that offers a good level of comfort and space for the weary travelers to recover and regroup. The location is remote and the twisty hilly roads will lead to nervous twitches on the many corners faced. Although it is close to Coniston Water....getting there along the roads makes it quite a task. Once we had improved our roadmanship of the lanes it became less of an issue. But we had good weather. If it was wet, snowy or foggy....then the break would have been quite a disaster.

    In summary

    Fabulous cottage
    Poor ( but beautiful) location
