Details

Rayrigg Villa was originally the home of a prosperous corn merchant, and stands at the edge of Windermere village, overlooking the Azalea and Rhododendron bushes in Library Gardens. It is convenient for the village shops, buses and railway. Rayrigg Villa has 7 bedrooms, all en suite. All rooms have colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served at 08.00 until 09.00 and private parking is available at the rear of the house.

We are members of the Cumbria Tourism and have been awarded 4-status in the Visit Britain guest accommodation scheme. The World of Beatrix Potter, the Windermere Steam Boat Museum and the launches and cruisers on lake Windermere are close at hand. There are numerous local walks to picnic sites and view points. We are open throughout the year, to enable our guests to experience the differing appearance of the lakes and hills as the seasons change. The scenery is breathtaking at any time, and we will be happy to give you advice on the routes.
