From south leave M6 jct 36 and follow A591 for 15m until you see Merewood signed on the right. We are situated opposite the National Park visitor centre at Brockhole, which is well signposted. It is 1.5m past a mini roundabout, the only one on the A591.
From north leave M6 jct 40 and follow A66 towards Keswick for 12m. At Threlkeld turn left to take B5322 which is signposted to Windermere. This joins the A591, turn left here and travel for 10m past Grasmere and Ambleside. Leave Ambleside on A591 for Windermere, Merewood is 2m on left.
