Invergarry is ideally situated, 10 minutes walk to the lake at Bowness and 10 minutes walk to Windermere town. We have 4 en suite double rooms in the main house and a separate garden room which can be booked as twin or kingsize accommodation. There is a good choice of breakfast menu served in the cosy dining room, situated on the lower ground level. We have a small courtyard garden providing a pleasant seating area. There is limited private parking alongside and unrestricted on-road parking to the front. Check-in time is from 14.00 on day of arrival and we ask that rooms are vacated no later than 11.00 on the day of departure. Invergarry is totally non-smoking.

Invergarry is ideally situated between Windermere and Bowness. It is within easy walking distance of the cinema, shops, restaurants and lake. We are convenient for all local transport services.

From the south exit M6 jct 36 and follow signs to Kendal and South Lakes. From the north exit M6 jct 37 and follow signs to Kendal. Follow signs to Windermere and Bowness. Shortly after passing the Windermere boundary sign, the Windermere Hotel appears on your right. Turn left at the hotel and follow signs to Bowness and the lake. Approximately 0.5 mile after the leaving Windermere town centre, a clock tower and modern church are passed on your left. Next turning on the left is Queens Drive. The next turning on the left is Thornbarrow Road and we are no 3.
Intercity trains stop at Oxenholme with connecting services to Windermere.
National Bus Services run to Kendal with regular bus and train connections to Windermere.

Invergarry is not suitable for people with disabilities. Our garden room is suitable for people who have difficulty going up and down stairs as this is accessed down the side of the guest house and is at ground level.
