Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Penrith town centre. We have a choice of single, twin, double or family, up to 5 people, rooms. All rooms are en suite with refurbished bathrooms, with TV, tea and coffee making facilities. Our 9 rooms can accommodate up to 22 people.
A newly fitted out accessible room is on the ground floor, with level access to the guest house.
We are one of the few town centre guest houses with a large car park.
We are an ideal stop for cyclists on the C2C route, it passes our door and have secure storage for your bikes.
Packed lunches can be provided if you would like them.
We have a liquor license so you can enjoy a drink. Use our residents' lounge to meet with other guests, read or have a drink
A drying room is available should you get wet on your day's activities. We have ineternet access also available.
Following feedback from the majority of our guests, we have a strict no smoking policy throughout the Norcroft.
Children welcome from any age.

From the south, leave the M6 at jct 40. Take the exit off the roundabout signposted Industrial Estate and Tourist Information Centre and North Lakes Hotel on your right. Turn right at next roundabout. Follow the road along and then down into the town. You will be forced left into one-way system. In 200 yards follow the hairpin turn to the right. Take the left turn up Portland Place. At the mini roundabout turn left and you can see the Norcroft Guest House 400 yards in front. Our car park is at the back
From the north, leave the M6 at jct 41. Take the third turning off the roundabout. At the next roundabout turn right onto the A6 going south. On entering Penrith continue down the hill towards the town centre. At the bottom of the hill you enter a one-way system. Stay in the left-hand lane. Take left turn up Portland Place. At the mini roundabout turn left and you can see the Norcroft Guesthouse 400 yards in front. Our car park is at the back of the house
If you are arriving by train Penrith Station is only a 15 minutes walk away-but call us and we may be able to come and collect you!
