An enchanting Grade II Listed folly set in the magnificent grounds of Greystoke Castle. Traditionally furnished to a high standard while still retaining its original oak beams, bags of character and comfortable charm. There are two double rooms, 1 with en suite facilities, and 1 twin room. A warm and friendly welcome awaits all of our guests, as does a full and hearty English-style breakfast, made from excellent local produce. The Boot and Shoe pub is only 5 minutes walk and offers fine food and drink. The cycle cafe is also close at hand where you can enjoy refreshments and light lunches, all home-made, and take a look through their quirky workshops itinery to see what is on offer.
Stafford House is perfectly situated for cyclists and walkers alike, but especially for those guests who would just like to relax, enjoy the peace and tranquility and let themselves totally unwind.

From M6, jct 40, take A66 towards Keswick and North Lakes. Travelling approximatley 2 miles, passing the Rheged centre and going straight over the roundabout. Take the turn to the right, across the dual carriageway, through Newbiggin village travelling approximately 2 miles and you arrive at a crossroads where you turn left onto the B2588 to Greystoke. Drive into the centre of Greystoke, through the large stone archway, then take second turn on the right.
