Above The Bay is situated overlooking Bowness and the lake, and it is only a short stroll from here to the centre of the village and the lake. We are 1 mile from the railway station. Children between 2 and 16 are charged at half price. Above The Bay is a modern spacious B&B establishment with ample private parking, set in its own grounds at the head of a cul-de-sac overlooking Bowness and the lake. Its unique elevated position provides unrivalled views and a tranquil peaceful atmosphere. A short stroll down through the gardens gives easy access to the bustling centre of Bowness and the lake.

Exit M6 at junction 36 heading to Windermere and South Lakes via A591. At the dual-carriageway terminal roundabout take B5284 for Hawkshead, Crook and the ferry. Turn right at first halt sign after 7 miles and proceed to Brackenfield sign, on left-hand bend and you will find us in a cul-de-sac after 100 yards.
