Our Kids Club offers high quality, entertaining and educational summer holiday experiences for 6 to 10 year olds. Located in the picturesque surroundings of Windermere School (Browhead), the site offers outstanding facilities and spaces for young people to learn and play. Our programme is designed and delivered by qualified outdoor educational professionals using an experiential approach to teaching and learning.
Learning though direct experience with reflection, our programmes and activities aim to offer children hands on experiences and real world learning whilst encouraging children to think and reflect on their experiences. Our courses will see children taking part in a range of exciting activities including:
-Super Science - wild and wacky science experiments, gaining understanding of physics and chemistry in a fun and engaging way.
-Soak, Splash and Swim - hot or not, children will be having water battles, building rafts and slipping their way down our giant slide.
-Would you go to the Wood? - Den making, with woodland craft and games
-Get Arty - Big canvas paintings, natural art, paintbombing and photography will have children exploring their creative sides
-Cool computing - practical and computer based activities will help your children understand the principles of computer use and programming basics.
-Mini Olympics - Rounders, tennis, football along with other sports
Children will be supervised by our Holiday Course Leaders and a team of student volunteers. Activities will be delivered by the Course Leader, student volunteers and specialist instructors. Combining Kids Club with Watersports
