Our team of qualified and experienced staff welcome students of all levels and abilities.We provide all safety equipment, and can also provide wetsuits and spray jackets if required. Operating in small groups, our friendly instructors are joined by a team of volunteers from the School's sailing team.
Children can also join our Kids Club (6 to 10 year olds) or Activity Club (11 to 16 year olds) in the afternoon.
Hodge Howe is an accredited RYA Training Centre where students can develop their sailing skills. Our selection of Bugs, Picos, Lasers, Fevas and Tera dingies enables us to cater for children aged 6 to 16, from beginners through to advanced sailors.
Participants will receive a RYA Youth Sailing Log book (or can add to their existing log book).

During both the school Easter and Summer holidays Windermere School operates Sailing, Windsurfing and Paddling courses for children aged 6 to 16. Take the A591 from Windermere towards Ambleside as you leave Windermere there is a mini roundabout carry straight on and then take the first left, through a set of Blue and white gates. Drive to the end of the road and the sailing centre is at the end.
