Printfest was founded in 2001, it is the UK’s foremost artist-led printmaking festival. Printfest is dedicated to the exhibition and sale of contemporary prints, it is a rare opportunity for the best of the UK’s printmakers to gather under one roof, to share practice and learn from each other. Printfest offers visitors the occasion to view and purchase art works, to meet the artists and to learn more about printmaking.
The Printfest weekend is held each early May bank holiday at the Coronation Hall in the festival town of Ulverston, Cumbria.

Saturday 29th April, 10am-5pm - Over 40 artist printmakers showing and talking about their work and methods of printmaking. Vote for Visitors' Choice.
Sunday 30th April, 10am-4pm - Over 40 artist printmakers showing and talking about their work and methods of printmaking. Visitors’ Choice Award and Printmakers’ Printmaker Award presented.

On entering Ulverston from the A590, drive straight on past Booths supermarket on your left and through a set of pelican traffic lights. At the next roundabout take the fourth exit onto Brewery Street. Turn left into the Brewery Street car park. Walk up Market Street and turn left up Brogden Street. At the top of the street turn right and then first left, and the Coronation Hall is situated behind the statue of Laurel and Hardy on County Square.
Less than a mile from Ulverston Station.
