The Bardsea Art Group holds its bi-annual art exhibition from 10am – 5pm, Saturday 27th May to Monday 29th May at the Old Schoolroom in Bardsea, near Ulverston in Cumbria.
As a tribute to the group’s founder, now 90 years old and still a very active member of the group, the exhibition will include several of Ron Stacey’s paintings which are privately owned.
Happy using watercolour, oils, pastels or acrylic, Ron is a natural colourist and his work is revered for its loose, almost abstract style, using complementary colours to create stunning, atmospheric effects; pinpoints of light shine through, whether in depicting Morecambe Bay or the beauty of the Lakeland fells.
Refreshments available including home-made cakes and scones.
|Sat 27 - Mon 29 May 2017||10:00 to 17:00|
