    The Waternook estate offers two exclusive luxury self-catering properties that can be booked separately or as one giving total exclusivity.

    Waternook (Sleeps 12):
    There are 6 luxury ensuite bedrooms. A Spa & Wellness Sanctuary with hot tub terrace and Laconium. A luxury kitchen and lake view dining terrace. A bar and a cinema with a Sky package. A drawing and reading room with wood burning stove. A mud room. Underfloor heating. Surround sound. Mood lighting. iPad controls and Bluetooth. A telescope. A private BBQ area. This property is also child friendly.

    Waternook offers accommodation for two dogs in the [underfloor heated] mud room.

    The Great Barn (Sleeps 8):
    This property has 4 luxury ensuite bedrooms. A luxury kitchen and lake view dining room as well as a lake view terrace. Underfloor heating. Surround sound. Mood lighting. iPad controls and Bluetooth. An entertainment room. A Minstrels Gallery & reading room. This property is also child friendly.

    Regretfully, pets are not allowed in The Great Barn.

    Car - From the M6. Exit at junction 40 and take the exit signposted A66 towards Keswick. At the roundabout take the second exit past the Rheged Centre towards Ullswater on the A592. At T-junction turn left onto the B5320 to Pooley Bridge. Continue to a small roundabout and take the second exit towards Howtown. At the junction turn right and follow the road for approximately four miles. You will pass over a small bridge, take your first right down a private road to Waternook.

    Train - The nearest station is at Penrith [20min drive]. We can arrange a chauffeur car to collect you. Please contact us should you wish to arrange this option.

    Ferry - We are a 500 yard walk from the Ullswater Steamer Pier at Howtown.
