Herdwick Doorstops in Felt

Herdwick Doorstops in Felt

Felt Herdwick Doorstop Quirky Workshop at Greystoke.

Details

Annis will arrive with everything you need to create and learn to carefully needlefelt the soft blended Herdwick wool mix into a soft but heavy door stop approx 8 inches long . She is a highly accomplished needlefelter and her work is for sale in local galleries in Cumbria . She also sells needlefelt kits online.

Following Annis's careful instruction you will by the end of the day have your very own unique, charming, hand made heavy real Herdwick door stop!

This type of felt is produced by locking the wool together through repeatedly stabbing it with your needle, it sounds complicated but can easily be learned and some beautiful pieces can be created in this way.

There will be an additional charge of £10 payable on the day to Annis for the materials used

If there is time to make further needelefelt pieces, depending on size there may be a small further charge.
