C-Art 2016: 10th - 25th September


C-Art is Cumbria's countywide visual arts programme, co-ordinated by Eden Arts. The highlight is the open studios and galleries event which will take place from 10 - 25 September 2016.

This year over 79 venues and 110 artists, designers and independent galleries will opened their doors to the public with numerous art and craft workshops, demonstrations and special exhibitions taking place. You can see this years artists and galleries by visiting

The second Cumbrian Artist of the Year exhibition and awards will be taking place at Rheged from 9th September - 13th November 2016 with a number of renowned guest artists, Conrad Anker, Margaret Harrison, Paul Scott and Maddi Nicholson, joining the submitted entries.

The first Young Cumbrian Artist of the Year Exhibition will be held at the University of Cumbria Institute of Arts Vallum Ditch Gallery from 1st September - 6th October.
