Walkers and cyclists welcome. Cycle cleaning and secure storage. Infomation on range of country pubs for evening meals. Central for visiting Hadtian's Wall, Lake District, The Borders and North Pennines. Local and home-made food wherever possible. Arrival from 16.00 until late, departure by 10.30.

From M6 jct 40 take A686 signposted Alston. Drive through Langwathby to Melmerby. In Melmerby after Village Bakery on left and Shepherd's Inn on right take left minor road to Gamblesby, 1 mile. Do not continue on main road up hill. Drive through Gamblesby village, ignore left turn to Glassonby, road bends right. See Addingham View sign 300yds on right. Very limited public transport, own transport essential.
