Ullswater Connexion (208)

Take a quick trip to Patterdale from Keswick on this excellent route via Troutbeck and Matterdale. Enjoy the views towards Matterdale Common as you drop down to Aira Force, a steep ravine with a series of waterfalls (the main one drops 70 feet!), a choice of walks and an abundance of wild daffodils in the spring. Finally, skirt Ullswater's lake shore stopping off at Glenridding to experience a serene lake cruise on one of the Ullswater Steamers before travelling on to Patterdale.
