Powe House is a Grade II Listed property that has been extensively refurbished. All rooms are clean and bright with new en suite bathrooms that boast extremely powerful showers. The property also has its own large private car park adjacent to the house. We are in the beautiful village of Portinscale which is in an ideal location for exploration of the northern and western lakes. Portinscale is 1.5 miles from Keswick and lies on the shores of Derwentwater. The village offers a number of dining opportunities, all within easy walking distance and all of a high standard.

DVD players in all rooms. The village of Portinscale has at least 4 places to eat, all of which offer good food at reasonable prices. All are walking distance from Powe House. we are 5 minutes away from the local marina and the Keswick launch leaves from the other marina. Powe House also boasts a large private car park.

From M6 jct 40 take the A66 towards Keswick.Take the Keswick by-pass on the A66 towards Cockermouth. Approximately a mile out of Keswick take the 1st left signposted Portinscale. Powe House is the 2nd guest house on the left.
