    Details

Mobile Adventures Adrenaline days combine two of our most popular and challenging activities - The Stonycroft Ghyll Scramble and the Honister Via Ferrata course.

In the morning we will pick you up in Keswick and transport you to Honister Mine, the site of the first Via Ferrata course to be built in the UK. Once we have all kitted up with harnesses, lanyards and helmets you will be given a safety briefing before heading out on to the course. A Via Ferrata is similar to rock climbing, but using metal ladders, bridges and even cargo nets to ease progress up the sheer sides of Honister Crag. At all times you are connected to a wire safety cable, ensuring your safety if you should slip. Once we have reached the summit of the Crag it is a gentle walk back down to the mine, where we will stop for lunch.

After eating, we will drive you around to the Ghyll for your afternoon activity. Our Stonycroft Ghyll scramble (as featured on BBC1) is now the most popular outdoor activity in the Lake District, and involves descending a mountain stream under the safe guidance of our experienced instructors. The descent which includes slides, dives and even jumping down waterfalls is guaranteed to have you buzzing with adrenalin by the finish. Throughout the day your instructor will guide you around the courses, ensuring your safety and maximising your enjoyment of a truly unique Lake District experience!
