I stay in B & B's reasonably often and find the cost of them in the Lake District to be quite frank extortionate. A single night anywhere else in an equivalent B & B with good standards and facilities would be around £35 to £50 max in a regular B & B. To charge £64 is simply unacceptable. Given that I had little choice I went with it, but I will not do this again. The facilities in the B & B were fine but very dated. The wi fi did not work and the TV tiny. Breakfast was good and the family very friendly so no complaints there at all... its just the cost.

Thank you Mr Righton for your comments. As you booked ONLINE the room is a set price and is priced for 2 people staying in the room I am unable to alter this as I am charged commission on this price. However if you had called me direct I would have offered you a different price to stay on your own. The Wifi is available but you need a code which we would have happily given to you if you had asked. Hope you enjoyed your fishing Sue
