Dave loves canoeing and as a level 3 coach is one of his favourite specialism's. It is the perfect mode of transport and can vary from a sedate paddle on one of the many lakes exploring the nooks and crannies and the many islands. Or the wetter option full wetsuits jumping in and out of the boats and playing games. Skills training for you and your family, British canoe union awards, or river running and expeditions but most importantly enjoying the simple pleasures of messing about on the water.

Adults £65 per day £40 half day. Bespoke individual family day £240. Discounts for groups. Special rates for schools and voluntary groups.

From jct 36 on M6 drive 5km along A590 dual carriageway towards Kendal. Turn off onto A591 dual carriageway towards western peninsulas and Barrow in Furness, drive 4km turn right onto the A5074 towards Bowness in Windermere drive 3km and take a left up a single track lane signposted the ROW, if you get to the Lyth valley hotel you have gone 200m to far! Follow lane into small hamlet Row Barn is the second barn on the left with a full length canopy which is white underneath and canoes in the yard!

Nearest station : 7 miles (11.3 kms) from Windermere/Oxenholme station

Starting point for activities, a place to leave your car and to be transported on your day's adventure. A place to have a warm welcome to sort your specialised kit out and try on in the dry and warm. A place to retreat to if you are cold and wet with toilet, hot shower and drying room refreshments/sitting areas and training room.
