Walking & Cycling Trails at Grizedale Forest & Visitor Centre
Our walking trails vary in length form 1.5km, 1 mile to 16km, 10 miles. We have low level walks including an all ability trail taking in plenty of sculpture and pretty views of the Grizedale valley, but also more strenuous walks taking you to the highest point in Grizedale with spectacular 360 degree views of the Lake District fells. Our cycling trails vary in length from 3.5km, 2miles to 23.5km, 14 miles, all of them on forest roads and away from cars and all with the chance to see sculptures along the way. We also have the North Face Mountain Bike Trail, for the more experienced mountain biker
