In these guided walks, we explore the area around Dove Cottage and visit places the Wordsworth family knew and wrote about. We talk, draw and write about what we can see on our walk in our journals, especially the plants and wildlife and the dramatic landscape of the Lake District. Ideal for families with children aged 12 and under who like to be active. Please dress sensibly in appropriate clothing and footwear.

Full disabled access is available to the Wordsworth Museum and Art Gallery. As Dove Cottage is an historic building, we have been unable to make provision for disabled access. However most wheelchairs will find the ground floor accessible and there is a virtual tour of the cottage available at the information point in the Wordsworth Museum.
