Beatrix Potter’s Landscape Cruise and Walk

Beatrix Potter’s Landscape Cruise and Walk

Details

Spend the day with our local volunteer Ranger discovering the legacy and impact of Beatrix Potter’s life in the Coniston locality.

Join Gondola on the 11am cruise to Monk Coniston where you’ll disembark for the guided walk through the Monk Coniston estate to the iconic Tarn Hows. The Monk Coniston estate was left to the National Trust by Beatrix Potter and many of the places you’ll visit on the walk have connections to the famous chrildren’s author and illustrator.

After returning from Tarn Hows you’ll stop off at Monk Coniston Hall for afternoon tea before re-boarding Gondola for the journey back to Coniston Pier.
