Ten Strings and a Goat Skin

Ten Strings and a Goat Skin

Details

A bilingual folk/fusion trio presenting traditional and original music inspired by their Atlantic Canadian histories and roots, infused with pop and world rhythms.

Young acoustic power trio Ten Strings and a Goat Skin from Canada’s Prince Edward Isle transform tradition with vigour, curiosity, and sparks of goofy humour.

Sometimes moody, sometimes high-energy, they weave old-school Franco-Canadian, Breton, Irish, and Scottish tunes with wickedly current grooves and clever quirks, flirting with indie’s best moments.

Brothers Rowen and Caleb Gallant are joined by guitarist Jesse Périard to create a fiery, contagious and unique sound which leaves audiences wanting more.

"A seamless, polished, barrel-drum-tight, innovative and wildly entertaining trad. music powerhouse" - The Guardian
