Delicious home-made food, great value for money!

You’ll definitely work up an appetite on your day out. There’s the children’s menu (baby food and microwave warming facilities too) and with delicious cakes the Curly Tails Café is not to be missed! There’s tasty home cooked food, locally produced ingredients and a great setting in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside.

Open 7 days a week, the Curly Tails Café, adjacent to the children’s play area, overlooks our animal paddocks and surrounding countryside and is pushchair and wheelchair friendly. It’s perfect for a morning breakfast roll, coffee, snacks, lunches, afternoon teas and early evening suppers.

Each day we offer freshly cooked meals, including delicious homemade soups and paninis as well as pasta dishes, home-made burgers, steak pie and casseroles. Daily specials are usually available, all at ‘local’ prices. In the summer we have an extensive salad bar. We make our own scones every morning, and prepare fresh sandwiches each day.
