Cumbria Rural Choirs, founded in 1951, is one of the largest amateur choirs in the country, formed from three main constituent choirs (Wigton Choral Society, Keswick Choral Society and Ullswater Choir, Penrith and individual associated singers). Each year, after rehearsal throughout the winter under the direction of their individual choir directors and at joint rehearsals with our Choral Director Ian Wright.
Cumbria Rural Choirs perform with the finest soloists and conductors available, in their annual spring concert in venues throughout the Cumbrian region.
