It was a wonderful experience staying in the secluded and well-furnished cottage with some very scenic locations surrounding us. The only downside was that it is so secluded that it can be hard to find on your first time around, especially if you are travelling in after dark. But Stuart was very helpful and was happy to accommodate in any way possible.
Ringhouse self-catering cottages are open all year, and set in the beautiful unspoilt Woodland Valley close to both Coniston and Broughton-in-Furness.
The cottages retain an unrivalled atmosphere of calm and peace in a rural setting and yet are within easy driving distance of the popular tourist centres. Ringhouse is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday or short break. Woodland consists of a broad valley of woods, meadows and scattered dwellings. There are many beautiful walks to be taken right from the cottage door. Broughton-in-Furness offers a grocery and butchers shop, a bakery, post office, garage, Tourist Information Centre, several traditional pubs, cafes and a restaurant.
