Our 27ft hand-built cedar strip Voyager canoe, as used by French Canadian fur trappers, can be paddled by 8 to 10 people for a great team activity, or in its Edwardian mode, with plush seats, a silent running electric motor and helmsman/guide so up to 5 people can take a peaceful trip to see the lake or to celebrate a special or romantic occasion, bring your own picnic or celebratory bottle of fizz.

From Keswick take B5289 Borrowdale Road down the east side of Derwentwater. Three miles from Keswick on the right-hand side is the Mary Mount Hotel. The hotel will kindly allow us to use their car park, please drive slowly and carefully. Walk to the bottom of the car park, through the garden, across the footbridge and across the field to find ud. Please be quiet, in consideration of the hotel guests.

Alternatively catch the Keswick Launch to the Lodore jetty, stop 3.
