The Lake District Cheese Co. is part of First Milk – the UK’s largest farmer owned dairy business.
 
We’ve been making great cheese here in the Lake District for generations, using traditional craftsmanship and of course the best local ingredients, sourcing the majority of our milk from a 20 mile radius of our creamery.
 
All the pure water and lush grass of the Lake District seems to make a difference to the cheese we make, as Lake District Cheddar has now won over 100 local, national and international awards!
