Details

Our afternoon teas celebrate the best of British heritage and include a selection of finger sandwiches, scones, sweet pastries, homemade biscuits and tray bakes which are served fresh daily.

Afternoon Teas are served in front of the medieval fireplace in the Lower Hall. £18 per person.*

Deluxe Afternoon Teas include a glass of Prosecco and are served upstairs in the Dining Rooms. These rooms are encased in 17th century Oak panelling and more akin to a glamorous private residence. £24 per person.*

Notes

  • Unfortunately Appleby Castle is a Grade I listed building and the keep is an ancient monument. For this reason we are unable to erect wheel chair access ramps, although we are looking into a removable ramp. We are unable to offer disabled access throughout the castle.
